There are various ways to obtain governmental subsidies for company training measures. In Spain, the subsidy system for companies is one of the most outstanding elements of the new legislation on Lifelong Learning. It establishes the possibility to obtain loans and subsidies for training measures which can be made effective by applying social security bonuses.
The company itself deducts credit from their Social Security contribution for the development of training measures according to the number of employees.
This deduction is applied to the social security payment starting the month after the completion of the course through one of the following two systems, depending on the presentation medium: The RED system or the normalized TC2.
The companies can also use the credit to provide training to the number of employees they esteem convenient, however they must respect the maximum economic modules established by current legislation.
